Getting used to life on the international tennis circuit has so far been a breeze for Bec Hewitt and her adorable 4 month old daughter Mia. Woman's Day caught up with them and dad Lleyton during their first big trip overseas. When we meet the family at their villa in the Las Vegas mirage casino complex, Bec is just finished folding baby clothes and Lleyton is bouncing their gurgling pride and joy in his arms.

"Yep, Mia is a real little chatter box" says Bec. there are no nannies for this down to earth duo, although they are happy to have Lleytons parents Glyn and Cherilyn on hand for support.

Indeed there is no shortage of babysitters in this family. Bec reveals that both sets of grandparents vie for the chance to spend time with mia, the first grandchild on both sides, but they are learning to share.

And it is not just family who fall in love with Mia. "We keep getting stopped as we walk around Las Vegas together - not because people recognise Lleyton oir I, but because they are charmed by Mia and want to tell us how cute she is!" laughs Bec.

"She absolutely loves getting out and about and being part of everything. Her little eyes are always working overtime as she takes in everything around her. With so much going on and so many things to see, she could be so tired but will fight it to stay awake as long as possible."

As well as charming strangers, "little angel" Mia's active days are a blessing for her mum and dad.

"In the day time she really doesnt have a lot of sleeps, just cat naps" explains Bec, "so by  night time she is a relly good sleeper - just one feed a night. I'm told I'm a very lucky mum."

She is also blessed with a husband who loves being a hands-on dad. When the inevitable happens during our shoot and it's time to change an overflowing nappy, it's Lleyton who chuckles and disapears with mia, bringing back his daughter in a brand new white jump suit.

In Becs own words, when it comes to having a daughter in their lives, "Every day just gets better - and there's so much more to look forward to."
